Debut Success For Jolly

Jollyallan maintained the good form of the team with a highly impressive debut success in the bumper at Wincanton on Thursday.

A big horse with a ground devouring stride he set off in front of a large field of runners, began to pull clear early in the finishing

straight and galloped on powerfully to win by fifteen lengths.

Jollyallan was our 100th runner of the season and our 33rd winner. Lets hope we can keep up the strike rate in the closing weeks of the campaign.

Jollyallan is yet another advertisement for the fabled talent spotting of my landlord Richard Barber who bought him for only 4,000 guineas. He looks a serious bargain now.

We both think he is a really exciting horse for the future. Given his size you'd have to think that chasing will be his game.
