Jollyallan kept up the good form of our novices with another decisive success at Newbury on Thursday.
Although he didn't jump as well as he can and kicked a couple of hurdles out of the ground, he was always in command and never looked like being headed.
He needs a stronger gallop and hopefully his jumping will improve with practise.
Frank Berry, racing manager for his owner JP McManus, was in charge at Newbury and noted that Jollyallan's future lies over fences next season.
Before that we will try and find another race for him over hurdles at Christmas.
