Arms returns in style
Presenting Arms extended the sparkling recent form of the team with an all the way victory at Kempton on Monday.
It was good to see the horse comeback in style after a fetlock injury brought a premature end to his season last winter.
He cruised through the race on Monday, jumping really well and was fully in control over the last half mile.
I am looking forward to the day Presenting Arms goes chasing but on this display there are more races to be won with him over hurdles.
So I might well turn him out again quickly as he does not get a penalty for Monday's success in a boys race.
The original plan was for my conditional jockey Liam McKenna to ride Presenting Arms. But Harry Cobden proved an excellent substitute when Liam was unable to secure his release from a short course at the Racing School in Newmarket.
